Angela Weston, founder of Westons Helping Hands, has dedicated over 20 years to supporting individuals with developmental disabilities. Her journey began while earning her Master’s degree at Southeast Missouri State University, where she discovered her passion for making a difference. Starting as a Direct Support Professional (DSP), Angela worked tirelessly to expand her expertise, advancing to roles as a Qualified Mental Retardation Professional (QMRP) and later as a Program Director. Her extensive experience, deep knowledge, and unwavering commitment have allowed her to positively impact countless individuals and families within the community.
Inspired by her daughter—who witnessed firsthand the love and dedication Angela had for those she served—she took a leap of faith to establish her own agency. With a mission to provide compassionate, high-quality care, Westons Helping Hands was born. Angela’s leadership is rooted in empathy, professionalism, and a steadfast belief that every individual deserves the opportunity to live a fulfilling and independent life. Through her agency, she continues to empower individuals, advocate for inclusion, and create a supportive environment where everyone can thrive.
